Following heavy rains in North Mahe, the SAVOY HOTEL grounds flooded out as reported by SBC. The area was under water, red and muddy. The hotel is built on a patch of flat land below the rivers high water mark from Quincy and Upper Beau Vallon. It appears the developers did not take this into consideration and the area took a beating from floods this week.
